Abstract
This study aims to assess the role of livestock sector in the economic structural transformation of agriculture to point out advantages and disadvantages and to propose solutions to sustainable livestock development in Thua Thien Hue province. Research results show that the province’s livestock industry in the last decade has developed slowly and unstainablly and this has in turn affected the target of economic structural transformation of agriculture set by the Provincial People Committee.
