Abstract

Exactly half a century has passed since the Tet Offensive of 1968 was undertaken, but its size, the implementation of its activities and its impact on the course of Vietnam War still attracts the attention of a great number of researchers. Based on papers published by Pentagon, and also on publications by American researchers, this article will explore why and how the American Administration re-shaped their war strategy in the aftermath of the Tet Offensive.
