Tích hợp học tập phục vụ cộng đồng vào chương trình giảng dạy đại học: Một nghiên cứu thực nghiệm

Abstract

Học tập phục vụ cộng đồng (HTPVCĐ) là một phương pháp giáo dục nhằm tạo điều kiện cho sinh viên tham gia một hoạt động cộng đồng có tổ chức và sau đó chiêm nghiệm về các lợi ích mà hoạt động ấy mang lại cho bản thân (Bringle và Hatcher, 1995). Nghiên cứu này nhằm điều tra nhận thức của giáo viên và sinh viên về HTPVCĐ, cũng như tìm hiểu những trải nghiệm của sinh viên thông qua một học phần có tích hợp HTPVCĐ tại một trường đại học miền Trung Việt Nam. Nghiên cứu có sự tham gia của 61 giáo viên và 201 sinh viên, sử dụng phương pháp định lượng và định tính để thu thập và phân tích dữ liệu. Kết quả cho thấy rằng giáo viên và sinh viên đều có sự ủng hộ mạnh mẽ HTPVCĐ, và giáo viên tỏ thái độ tích cực hơn sinh viên ở năm khía cạnh nghiên cứu. Những bài viết trải nghiệm của sinh viên tham gia khóa học có tích hợp HTPVCĐ cho thấy HTPVCĐ là một công cụ lợi ích giúp sinh viên phát triển nghề nghiệp, bản thân và học thuật. Những thách thức và các giải pháp đề nghị được trình bày sau đó, cùng với những hàm ý.
