This study aims to analyze the current state of digital transformation applications in the growth of Quang Binh’s traditional handicraft industries and suggest solutions for future development. Descriptive statistical methods and frequency analysis were primarily used in this study, utilizing secondary data from 2018–2023 and surveys of 103 production facilities along with 30 customers who purchase traditional handicraft products online. The results indicate that the application of digital transformation contributes to job creation and the development of traditional handicraft industries; however, there are still many limitations. To enhance the application of digital transformation, it is necessary to implement a range of synchronized solutions, such as the application of digital technology, product digitization, financial support, and the gradual development of traditional handicraft industries to satisfy human production and consumption demands on both domestic and global scales.
Phan Van Hoa, Le Ngoc Quynh Anh, Bui Dung The, Hoang Trong Hung, Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Tran Cong Dung, Tran Huynh Quang Minh, Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong, Nguyen Cong Dinh, Nhieu Khanh Phuoc Hai, Phan Nhieu Thuc Nhi Copyright (c) 2024 Phan Van Hoa, Le Ngoc Quynh Anh, Bui Dung The, Hoang Trong Hung, Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Tran Cong Dung, Tran Huynh Quang Minh, Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong, Nguyen Cong Dinh, Nhieu Khanh Phuoc Hai, Phan Nhieu Thuc Nhi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jos.hueuni.edu.vn/index.php/hujos-ed/article/view/7561 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Researching the quality of MyTV television at VNPT Dakrong District, Quang Tri Province https://jos.hueuni.edu.vn/index.php/hujos-ed/article/view/7580
MyTV television is provided on high-speed Internet via fiber optic cable with technology (Fiber To The Home) and on 3G, 4G, or 5G mobile platforms. Data from 207 SMEs were analyzed using quantitative methods such as exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that digital leadership, digital culture, digital technology platforms, and digital capacity all directly affect the readiness for digital transformation in HRM and indirectly affect the readiness for digital transformation in HRM through the mediating variable of dynamic capability. Among these, the factor with the greatest impact is digital culture (β = 0.350), and the least impact is digital leadership (β = 0.209) at a 5% significance level. The variables in the model explain 65% of the variance in the readiness for digital transformation in HRM. Based on these findings, the study proposes managerial implications to promote the readiness for digital transformation in HRM of SMEs in Thua Thien Hue province in the future.
Nguyen Anh Duong, Hoang Trong Hung, Le Thi Phuong Thao, Nguyen Quoc Thien Huong Copyright (c) 2024 Nguyen Anh Duong, Hoang Trong Hung, Le Thi Phuong Thao, Nguyen Quoc Thien Huong https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jos.hueuni.edu.vn/index.php/hujos-ed/article/view/7631 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The effect of local irrigation organizations on rice productivity in Vietnam https://jos.hueuni.edu.vn/index.php/hujos-ed/article/view/7624
The participatory irrigation management approach with the formation of farmer-owned local irrigations organization have been promoted as a solution for improving irrigation effectiveness, which then enhances agricultural production. However, none national-wide research has proved this cause – effect relationship. By using VARHS 2016 data and applying the regression model, this paper analyses the impact of local irrigation organizations on household rice yield. Information related to production input, output and household characteristics is collected from household-level data while information regarding local model of irrigation institution, irrigation condition is withdrawn from commune-level data. The results indicated that the existence of local irrigation entities responsible for local irrigation management has significant positive impact on rice yield. Irrigation infrastructure condition, location along the canal, irrigated area and quantity of input usages also significantly explain the variations of rice yield. Some policy applications on irrigation management and rice production are proposed based on finding of the study.
Tran Hanh Loi, Nguyen Le Hiep, Tran Thi Thu Hien Copyright (c) 2024 Tran Hanh Loi, Nguyen Le Hiep, Tran Thi Thu Hien https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jos.hueuni.edu.vn/index.php/hujos-ed/article/view/7624 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Interactive relationship between credit risk, liquidity risk and banking efficiency https://jos.hueuni.edu.vn/index.php/hujos-ed/article/view/7613
The study proves the interactive relationship between credit risk, liquidity risk, and efficiency in 27 Vietnamese commercial banks in the period from 2018 to 2022, considered through the simultaneous equation model (SEM).
