This study explored the factors influencing the intention to become a startup mentor in Central Vietnam. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, utilizing surveys and in-depth interviews to collect data from current and potential startup mentors. The survey data was collected from 350 entrepreneurs, business professionals, and university lecturers in Central Vietnam. Regression analysis revealed that positive attitude, knowledge and experience, and expected benefits significantly influenced the intention to become a startup mentor, with expected benefits being the strongest predictor. This study provides valuable insights into the factors that motivate individuals to engage in startup mentoring activities, thereby suggesting recommendations for developing the startup ecosystem in Central Vietnam.

Protection and exploitation of trademarks in general and collective marks bearing geographical elements in the field of agriculture in general are always concerned by localities. According to the OCOP program (one product per commune), the selection of potential intellectual property to protect, and the development of exploitation plans to bring about economic benefits, is very necessary. The article focuses on analyzing and evaluating (i) the current status of collective trademark protection and exploitation in Thua Thien Hue province from March 2018 to April 2023, (ii) practical problems and solutions. measures to improve the effectiveness of collective trademark protection and exploitation.

Trong thời đại của công nghệ thông tin, ngày càng có rất nhiều trẻ em sử dụng inernet, đồng nghĩa với việc nguy cơ trẻ em bị tấn công bởi các hình thức bóc lột và lạm dụng tình dục trực tuyến qua các mạng kỹ thuật số như các trang web đen và các tiền tệ kỹ thuật số cũng vì thế tăng lên. Tuy nhiên, trong Bộ luật hình sự Việt nam năm 2015 vẫn còn nhiều điểm hạn chế, vì vậy nội dung của bài nghiên cứu viết về sự so sánh giữa quy định của Luật hình sự Việt Nam với một số quốc gia nhằm đưa ra các kiến nghị, giải pháp để gia tăng cơ chế bảo vệ trẻ em trước các hành vi lạm dụng tình dục trên không gian mạng.

3D printing technology is demonstrating significant potential in enhancing students' learning of Mathematics. Despite existing barriers, a growing body of research is applying 3D printing technology in Mathematics education. In this paper, we construct several models utilizing 3D printing technology to support the professional development of pre-service teachers majoring in elementary education. We designed mathematical tasks involving activities related to counting blocks, calculating quantities, and arranging individual sets of three blocks into cubic units. Experimental results demonstrated that students are capable of calculating the volume of blocks, executed assembly tasks, and actively engaged in quick assembly games.

In recent years, the world has witnessed a series of global crises, including pandemics, political instability, and armed conflicts, which have necessitated countries to declare a state of emergency. This prevailing trend will continue or potentially escalate in the coming decades. Such crises present numerous challenges to economies, prompting a crucial role for Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in response and recovery efforts. FTAs are likely detrimental to countries with economic interdependence. Therefore, this research aims to re-evaluate the practical implementation of FTAs in Vietnam during recent crises and to explore potential provisions within these agreements that can offer guidance for more coordinated and effective responses to future crises.

Based on theoretical and practical basis, along with methods of analyzing and synthesizing documents, mathematical statistics and questionnaire surveys of 10 officials, lecturers, managers, and experts. With members and 865 students from member universities and faculties of Hue University, we have evaluated the current status of student sports clubs at Hue University. Research results on the activities of Sports Clubs show that: The number of Clubs is small, member participation in Clubs is low, most Clubs operate at universities. members and faculties of Hue University are not regular; Finance to maintain the Club's operations comes from monthly membership dues contributions from members, facilities for operations are limited, etc. The above assessment results will serve as a basis for Build and develop recreational sports clubs for Hue University students in the coming time to meet the needs of Hue University students for healthy and useful activities.

Probability is a fundamental branch of mathematics with numerous practical applications. In Vietnam's 2018 Mathematics General Education Program, the domain of statistics and probability introduces several novel aspects and holds a significant position. Epistemologically, there are various approaches to probability. Integrating these approaches, particularly theoretical and experimental probabilities, into the secondary school mathematics curriculum and teaching practices is necessary. This article aims to elucidate how the concepts of theoretical probability, experimental probability, and their relationship are introduced in Vietnamese mathematics textbooks across different grades. The findings reveal that theoretical and experimental probabilities are treated as distinct concepts in these textbooks. While aspects of experimental probability are more frequently addressed in textbooks, the explicit relationship between experimental and theoretical probabilities lacks clear and appropriate mention. Our research findings contribute to the professional development of in-service and pre-service secondary school mathematics teachers related to teaching probability.

Intimate partner violence (IPV) against pregnant women is a growing public health issue, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Prenatal IPV during pregnancy (p-IPV) not only negatively impacts the health of the expectant mother but also affects the growth and development of newborn. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of p-IPV and its associated factors in Hue City and assess the impact of p-IPV on antenatal depression in the study population. A cross-sectional study as the first phase of a birth cohort follow up study, was conducted on 300 pregnant women with permanent residency in Hue City. The p-IPV was measured using the Conflicts Tactics Scale-2 (CTS-2). The results showed that the prevalence of p-IPV was 17.3%, with 14.0% psychological aggression, 7.0% sexual coercion, and 2.3% physical violence. The study also uncovered factors linked to IPV during pregnancy, including adverse childhood experiences, perceived support from friends, and relationships with neighbors. The prevalence of antenatal depression was also 17.3%, and p-IPV was found to be significantly associated with and increased risk of antenatal depression by 6.1 times. These findings highlight the need for enhanced mental support for pregnant women. Further research is required to monitor and evaluate the relationship between mental health and violence against pregnant women.

The article focuses on researching the principles of applying precedents according to Resolution No. 03/2015/NQ-HDTP on the process of selecting, announcing, and applying precedents, and examining the current situation of applying precedents in resolving disputes. Inheritance disputes in Vietnam through studying judgments that have been resolved by the Courts and applying precedents. From there, this article analyzes the limitations and explains the causes of those limitations, to propose some solutions that contribute to improving the effectiveness of applying precedents in trial practice.

This study was conducted at the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University. The secondary data based on annual reports on applicants enrol and primary data were collected through participatory interviews for 4 target groups including lecturers, enrollment administrators, learners and high school students. Results showed that, in the period 2019 – 2023, the number of applicants enrol have been decresing year by year and also indicated that the unbalance between training major and specilized faculty as well, students mainly chose enrol to Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine Faculty of Engineering and Food Technology, Faculty of Fisheries, meanwhile Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Agronomy, Faculty of Rural development have very few students enrolling. There are 3 main factors affected the effectiveness of undergraduate admissions including (i) job opportunities, (ii) timing, (iii) university brand and 3 main reasons for learners enrol to Hue University of Energy including (i ) job opportunities, (ii) living environment in Hue and (iii) personal hobby. Hence, future enrollment stragies should concentrate to emphasize the job opportunities, promoting the university brand and disseminate the love of agriculture to high school students through career-oriented activities to attract more and more learners.

This study utilizes qualitative data analysis and content quantification of 459 news articles from three newspapers: Education and Times Online (GDTĐO), Vietnam Education electronic magazine (GDVN), and Dan Tri newspaper, spanning from July 2017 to December 2020. Drawing upon agenda-setting theory and the function of social criticism, the paper examines the message and content surrounding university autonomy policies as reported, discussed, and critiqued by these newspapers. Through this analysis, the study identifies various issues and offers recommendations to enhance the quality of policy communication regarding university autonomy in the press.

This article reports part of the findings on the implementation of scaffolding for students at tertiary level. The focus is on teachers’ responses to the practice of scaffolding at blended-learning basic English classes. Qualitative research with in-depth interview was applied, triangulated with the receive artifacts on LMS. Eight teachers in charge of the respective classes took part in the interview. Results shows that the implementation of scaffolding was different among different components of blended-learning. While the implementation of scaffolding was rather effective with synchronous modes of teaching, it was far from efficient with asynchronous one (LMS). The article ends with some suggestions for supplementing teachers with more training on methodology in the new teaching mode, on technology, and for the curriculum modification.
