Abstract

This paper studies the influence of temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Nickel bulk model with 6,912 particles by Molecules Dynamics (MD) method with the embedded interactive Sutton-Chen potential and periodic boundary conditions. This model was studied in detail at temperatures of 300K, 500K, 700K and 900K to determine the microstructure and the deformation along the z axis. Obtained results were analyzed through the radial distribution function (RDF), the coordination numbers, the energy, the size, the common neighborhood analysis method (CNA) and through the deformation along the z axis, which showed the influence of temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the model.
