STUDIES ON CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF ECLIPTA PROSTRATA

Abstract

From the aerial parts of Eclipta prostrata growing in Thua Thien Hue, Vietnam, two compounds, luteolin (1) and 3-O-(β-D-glucopyranosyl) oleanolic acid-28-O-(6-O-acetyl-β -D-glucopyranosyl) ester (2) were isolated. Their structures were determined on the basis of MS and NMR spectroscopic data and comparisions of those spectral data with reported data.
