Preliminary results of bantams raising in Tien Phuoc, Que Son, and Nong Son district, Quang Nam province

Abstract

This paper presents our preliminary results of raising bantams in three highland districts of Quang Nam province. The information about the total number of chicks and the corresponding number raised in each districtis collected from 90 households. The research describes the appearance of Quang Nam’s bantams, the mode of raising, the disease prevention, the purpose of raising, and the market. Although the chicks are sold at a high price, the market is promising. However, the number of raised chicks is decreasing.
