Abstract
This study was conducted in communes of the former Hoa Vang district, Da Nang City to assess the current status of issuing certificate of land use right and assets attached to land for economic organizations during the period 2015–2024. Data were collected through document review and questionnaire-based interviews with 61 economic organizations that were granted land use right certificates in order to analyze the impacts of this process on socio-economic development. The results indicate that a total of 1,844 land use right certificates were issued to 61 economic organizations, covering a total area of 566.86 hectares for various land use purposes, including residential land, commercial and service land, land for non-agricultural production facilities, and land for industrial parks and clusters. In comparison, residential land accounted for the largest number of issued certificates, primarily associated with eco-urban development projects, while commercial and service land represented the largest allocated area, mainly concentrated in large-scale tourism projects. Overall, the issuance of land use right certificates has had a positive impact on socio-economic development indicators by ensuring secure and stable land tenure, promoting investment, expanding production activities, creating employment opportunities, and enhancing overall development efficiency.
