Abstract
This study examines the influence of knowledge-oriented leadership on organizational absorptive capacity through the mediating role of knowledge-sharing behavior, using primary data from 400 staff in firms in Vietnam . The research employs the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach for data analysis. The findings support the hypothesis that knowledge-oriented leadership positively influences both knowledge-sharing behavior and absorptive capacity. Additionally, the results highlight the indirect effect of knowledge-oriented leadership on absorptive capacity through the mediation of knowledge-sharing behavior among employees. The study provides several managerial implications for enterprises, emphasizing the importance of fostering and sustaining innovation to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
