Abstract

Summary: This research were carried out in order to evaluate the statistic and quality of private therapy session for high school students. Participants included were 85 administrators, teachers and 221 students from grades 10 to 12 in 3 high schools in Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province, namely: Vinh Xuan high school, Ha Trung high school and Nguyen Sinh Cung high school. The questions for survey were relevant to the topic of theimportance and significance of counseling for students, difficulties and how much psychological measures should be apply to students, counselingmethods for students. The results show that the teachers and students are all aware of the importance and significance of counseling companies for students in schools. Due to the fact that students have psychological difficulties in many aspects and different levels in, the counseling methods is alsothought to be very diverse. The counseling act overall has implemented many forms and methods, in order to answer the needs of students. There are many factors affecting therapy sessions for students in schools, in which, experienced counselors tend to have stronger impact. On the basis of the curren evaluation, the article proposes a number of measurements to improve the effectiveness of therapy session/ counseling coursesfor students in high schools in Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province.
