Abstract
Usinglogic and historical methods, comparison and contrast, in this article, the author clarifies that Hue’s culture belongs to the central cultural region, which represents for Vietnam in the nineteenth century. Overcoming the unfavourable natural disasters and severe weather conditions, Hue’s culture became the narrative of the spiritual and material life of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty. With positive values, Hue’s culture has become the guarantee of Hue’s identity. It is the energy source for the present and future development of Hue City in particular, and Thua Thien Hue province in general.
