Tourism is one of the industries most heavily affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Tourism activities and services, are almost impossible or take place at a moderate level. From the beginning of 2021, worldwide countries use a vaccine strategy to help tourism return, at least under new normal conditions. Nevertheless, with the emergence of more and more new Covid-19 variants, only vaccines are not enough. Other requirements such as distancing and limiting contact are essential for tourism activities in a new situation. Therefore, tourist attractions need to have a smart monitoring system that can issue distance warnings to visitors or information for managers to ensure safety and make visitors happier when visiting a tourist destination. This paper proposes a smart monitoring model at a tourist destination, in which Minh Mang Tomb in Thua Thien Hue is analyzed as an experimental modelling case.
