Abstract

The research explores the relationship between decent work and turnover intention of hotel employees in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as assesses the mediating role of work-life balance in this relationship. The study developed and validated the reliability and validity of measurement scales to ensure accurate assessment of the research concepts. Based on data from 360 hotel employees in Ho Chi Minh city, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were applied to analyze the data. The empirical analysis results indicate that decent work has a negative impact on employees' turnover intention while significantly improving work-life balance. The study also provides specific recommendations to help hotel businesses in optimizing their human resources policies, focusing on improving a conducive and fulfilling environment, appropriate remuneration, recognition of employee efforts, and promoting the general employee health.
