Tóm tắt

Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu là xác định ảnh hưởng của manh mún đất đai đến an ninh lương thực của hộ gia đình sản xuất lúa ở thị xã Hương Thủy, tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế. Nghiên cứu đã sử dụng phương pháp chọn mẫu thuận tiện với 150 chủ hộ để tiến hành phỏng vấn. Nghiên cứu áp dụng hồi quy Probit để ước tính tác động của manh mún đất đai và các yếu tố khác đến mức độ an ninh lương thực của hộ gia đình. Kết quả cho thấy rằng mức độ manh mún đất đai cao có thể làm giảm mức độ đảm bảo an ninh lương thực của hộ gia đình. Bên cạnh đó, các nhân tố khác như áp dụng giống lúa mới trong sản xuất có tác động tích cực đến an ninh lương thực của hộ điều tra. Từ kết quả nghiên cứu, chúng tôi khuyến nghị thúc đẩy quá trình dồn điền đổi thửa, phát triển các giống lúa mới để giúp các hộ sản xuất hiệu quả hơn và giảm tình trạng mất an ninh lương thực của hộ gia đình.
