Abstract
Our research was conducted from December 2017 to April 2018 at the seedling production site of BEKADES Herbal Joint Stock Company, at Phu Xuan commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province in order to contribute to the development and improvement of propagation of Solanum procumbens seedlings. Each experiment was arranged using the completely randomized block design method. The results showed that the treatment with 20 ppm GA3 and 6 hours of dipping seeds had positive effects on the physiological indicators of seed germination; the application of Bloom plus foliar fertilizer combined with 60 % soil + 1 % superphosphate + 29 % manure + 10 % coconut fiber had a good effect on the growth rate of the seedlings; sowing on February 20th or March 10th gave better results in terms of the number of leaves per plant, height and growth rates than sowing on March 30th. Sowing on February 20th with 40 % shading or sowing on March 10th with 60 % shading enabled Solanum procumbens to grow better than sowing in other seasons and shade rates.
