Abstract

This study was conducted to assess the uniformity and morphological characteristics of Ngoc Linh Ginseng at Nam Tra My, Quang Nam, Vietnam. A total of 80 individuals collected from different areas of the Ngoc Linh mountain and were subjected to adetailed morphological characteristics description. Most of the ginseng individuals in population were highly uniform and belonged to onegenetic group. The number of leaves and leaf length and width could be used as important morphological characteristics for evaluating and dividing individuals into subgroups.
