Abstract

Along with development of history, public construction of village is village communal house in the three urban areas of Hanoi - Hue - Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), have also undergone many transition and development in the historical process. In terms of architecture, the village communal houses in the three urban areas have shown the relationship, contributing to the diversity of the architectural identity of the village communal house of Vietnam. In addition to the similarities in feng-shui, overall architecture and architectural scale, there are also differences in the layout of the site, architectural elements, the appearance of the roof, structure of wood frame, art and decoration on village communal house. The village communal houses in Hanoi - Hue - Saigon have been around for hundreds of years and exists to this day as proof of the value of this architectural.
