THE ART OF BUIDING THE WOMAN SYMBOL IN TUY LY VUONG MIEN TRINH’S WRITINGS

Abstract

The amount of works about the woman by Mien Trinh occupied not a small proportion in his writings. Beside Nu pham dien nghia tu written in Nom script, other works in Han script in Selected of Vi Da contributed Mien Trinh’s deeply view of the woman, from their appearance to their characters and fate. Mien Trinh could see the beauty in women in his family like mother, wife and sisters as well as other popular women. Most of them affected Mien Trinh by their eafaithful love, kindness and unhappy situation. Compassion, love, affection and defense were Mien Trinh’s attitude in his works about the women.
