Các nguồn tài liệu tiếng Anh chuyên ngành Du lịch ngày nay rất cần thiết và đa dạng như giáo trình tiếng Anh chuyên ngành Du lịch, tạp chí, bài báo, sách, v.v., có thể sử dụng ở dạng điện tử và bảng in. Do sự tiện lợi, dễ sử dụng và dễ tra cứu từ vựng để tham khảo trong việc học tiếng Anh chuyên ngành Du lịch cũng như nghiên cứu biên dịch mà  khối ngữ liệu mang lại,  nhu cầu sử dụng khối ngữ liệu trong học tập và nghiên cứu của sinh viên ngày càng tăng. Tuy nhiên, hiện vẫn chưa có khối ngữ liệu song ngữ Anh-Việt chuyên ngành Du lịch nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu này. Bài báo này trình bày quá trình xây dựng khối ngữ liệu song ngữ Anh-Việt chuyên ngành Du lịch sinh viên Khoa tiếng Anh trường Đại học Ngoại ngữ - Đại học Huế (HUFLIS) sử dụng. Nghiên cứu này được tiến hành theo hai giai đoạn: 1/ Xây dựng kho tài liệu trong thời gian 6 tháng (tháng 1-6 năm 2023) và 2/ Thực hành sử dụng khối ngữ liệu với sự tham gia của 350 sinh viên trong học kỳ đầu năm học 2023-2024. Nghiên cứu đã áp dụng phương pháp định tính và định lượng với các công cụ nghiên cứu bao gồm bảng câu hỏi và phỏng vấn trực tiếp. Kết quả cho thấy thực tại việc sử dụng khối ngữ liệu của sinh viên và thái độ của họ đối với những lợi ích và thách thức khi sử dụng khối ngữ liệu song ngữ Anh- Việt này trong các lớp học tiếng Anh Du lịch.
