Abstract
The image of the fish turning into a dragon is represented on the roof line and gate openings of the architectural clusters of Hung To Temple, The To Temple in Hue Citadel, through mortar. Fishing into a dragon is the famous dream of the ancients who wanted to pass it on to their descendants forever through the language of reliefs and decorations on palace architecture. They reflect deep spiritual meanings, contributing to the success of Nguyen Dynasty's fine arts and Hue culture in general. At the same time, they also bear the imprint of the interference between Confucianism and Buddhism through the typical style of "The mermaid transforms into a dragon and a lotus".
