Bằng cách tiếp cận Chiến lược phục hồi (resilience strategies), nghiên cứu này chỉ ra những biến động về việc làm của lao động nữ trong lĩnh vực lưu trú tại thành phố Huế và cách thức cá nhân thích ứng với những biến đổi đó. Phân tích các dữ liệu định lượng và định tính thu thập được từ 220 phụ nữ đang làm việc tại các cơ sở lưu trú vào thời điểm khảo sát, nghiên cứu đã chỉ ra tình trạng suy giảm việc làm của lao động nữ trước và sau khi đại dịch Covid-19 bùng phát tại thành phố Huế, những áp lực về kinh tế và tinh thần mà họ đã trải qua và các chiến lược thích ứng và phục hồi phù hợp với các nguồn lực của cá nhân.
